IPRG organized the FIRST training session within the project “Inter-ethnic Dialogue and Cooperation among Youth in Macedonia”


The Institute for Policy Research and Good Governance organized the FIRST training session within the project ” Inter-ethnic Dialogue and Cooperation among Youth in Macedonia “, – a SDC funded civil society support programme “CIVICA Mobilitas”, implemented by the Macedonia Center for international cooperation MCMS, NIRAS from Danimark and Swedish Institute for Public Administration (SIPU),. The training took place in Skopje ( Hotel Continental) from 12-13 December, 2015.
The training involved young activists, representatives of various non-governmental organizations, youth groups, associations and other student groups from different ethnic background.
The first, initial phase of the project has been completed. The second phase will comprise of additional three multiplicative trainings, organized and implemented by IPRG along with selected participants who attended the initial phase of the trainings.
The project aims to contribute to ethnic cooperation and prevent the outbreak of ethnic conflict by joining and promoting a dialogue between youth organizations and other youth groups from different ethnic background, furthermore the projects aims is to contribute to the strengthening of inter-cultural cooperation, thereby to fight discrimination, promote human and minority rights and contribute to preventing the resurgence of ethnic conflict.
