Civica Mobilitas
Civica Mobilitas is a civil society support facility in Macedonia that began implementing in October 2014 and will continue till September 2018.
Civica Mobilitas supports civil society in promoting social change in (strategic) areas such as good governance, decentralization and civil society development. Civica Mobilitas also supports civil society in addressing and mainstreaming, where possible, three so-called “transversal issues”: gender, inter-ethnic relations, and migration. Civica Mobilitas supports CSOs and CS actors across all regions and municipalities, sectors and themes. Civica Mobilitas aims at reducing some of the large disparities in terms of the development of civil society between and within Macedonia’s regions and between and within different societal sectors.
University of Trento, Italy
The School on Local Development (SLD) was established by the University of Trento, with D.r. no. 185 dated 30th March 2007.
The School on Local Development is a University of Trento’s interfaculty structure, jointly set up by the Faculties of Economics, Law and Sociology and later joined by the Faculties of Engineering and Cognitive Sciences, with the aim of carrying out research in local development.The School has a strong vocation to international relations also founded on the European international partnership with the Corvinus University of Budapest, the University of Ljubljanaand the University of Regensburg forming and coordinating the Erasmus Mundus Consortium which organizes the International Master in Comparative Local Development as well as seminars and workshops and promotes the students mobility.
The School is characterized by an interdisciplinary and comparative approach, with the contribution of foreign teaching staff and scholars, institutional and operative coordination with national and foreign partner universities, and the integration of research managed by the university departments.

Other activities managed by the School are: the Master’s programme for the qualification of teaching staff (at the USTM – Maputo), the Cuenca del Rio Toltén project and the Piano de Ordinamento Teritorial Vila de Caia, with the collaboration of the Faculty of Engineering, as well as the International Master Program in Sustainable Urban Environments Planning (MAPAUS).
ISFiT – The International Student Festival in Trondheim
ISFiT – The International Student Festival in Trondheim, Norway is the world’s largest student festival with a thematic focus. About 450 students from all over the world attend the festival. The themes have changed over the years, but have always been related to social and political topics with international relevance.
World figures often attend ISFiT and past speakers include His Holiness the Dalai Lama, former Director-General of WHO Dr Gro Harlem Brundtland and Nobel Peace Prize Laureates Dr José Ramos-Horta, Professor Wangari Maathai and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Dr Desmond Tutu. Using modern technology, former US president Bill Clinton has relayed his thoughts about the global significance of ISFiT to plenum ceremonies at the festival.
The ISFiT participants take part in different workshops, which highlight the festival theme in various ways. Several lectures and thematic meetings will be arranged, where well-known international speakers share their views with the participants and others. The ISFiT audience is also welcome to join a vast cultural programme of concerts, art exhibitions and performing arts.
In order to organize ISFiT, more than 350 students in Trondheim work voluntarily, making sure every detail goes as planned. ISFiT has been arranged in Trondheim, Norway every second year since 1990. Check the web page :http://www.isfit.org/
Norway Embassy Skopje
The Embassy of Norway is a project partner to the Institution for Policy Research and Good Governance since May 2012.
Themain task of the Embassy is to provide a link between the central authorities of The Kingdom of Norway and The Republic of Macedonia. Themonitoring of the development of domestic and foreign affairs in Macedonia has a high priority. Of particular interest are issues related toMacedonia’s relations withthe international community and its steps toward Euro – Atlantic integration, including the Implementation of the Ohrid Framework Agreement.Dialogue partners are the Macedonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well asother ministries,government agencies and international and domestic organizations.
The Embassy also deals with other issues of particular interest to Norway, such as the distribution of the Norwegian supportto the development of Macedonia. Furthermore, it provides assistance regarding consular matters to Norwegian and Macedonian citizen.
