The project “Civic Education and Cultural Understanding for Rural Women” was supported by the Norway Embassy Skopje and implemented by the Institute for Policy Research and Good Governance.

Project aim: The project will consist of education and awareness raising workshops on civic education and cultural understanding organized for women from 20 rural communities in the Region of Polog and the Southwest Region. The specific activities will include: short presentations by women activists of different ethnic affiliation and small round tables involving project activists and locals. A total of 20 workshops will be organized in the period May-September 2012.

Since the month of May, 15 workshops were developed in the region of Tetovo Municipalities ,Struga ,Kicevo(Oslomej, Zajas), and Gostivar.

We are pleased to announce the great success IPRG had in implementing these workshops with women from rural areas.
The project was realized in 2012.
