Macedonia is a mosaic of nations that differ among themselves by ethnic origin, religion, language and culture. In it live Macedonians, Albanians, Turks, Serbs, Vlachs and others. The colorfulness of elements of different ethnic, religious, linguistic, cultural and economic owned by this country, has served as an incubator for a series of inter-ethnic conflicts and clashes. Even after twenty years of Macedonia’s independence still one of the country’s major problems, disputes and clashes between the two largest ethnic groups in the country, Macedonians and Albanians, is present. Although living in a same country, using the same means of transportation, buying food products in the same shop, working in the same institutions, these two ethnic communities are not at odds with each other.
